Haiti police detain 17 suspects after the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse
Haiti: Haitian President Jovenel Moïse was fatally shot on Wednesday after a group of unidentified individuals attacked his private residence. Two of the 17 arrested are believed to hold US citizenship, according to multiple reports. The Colombian government says 6 of the suspects are ex-members of the Colombian army. The First Lady was also reportedly injured in the attack and is receiving treatment in Miami.
