Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid makes first official visit to UAE

United Arab Emirates: Israel’s Foreign Minister Yair Lapid arrived in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, where he has opened the nation’s embassy in Abu Dhabi and is due to open a consulate in Dubai, along with signing an economic cooperation pact.

This is the first official visit to the UAE by an Israeli minister since the two nations normalised ties in September with the signing of the Abraham Accords.
